When using photographs in
a print product you will need to have a signed model release of the
person/people that are in the image. You will need to seek permission from them
to say that they give you permission to use the image. Models that are used and
are under the age of 16 will require a parent of legal guardian’s signature on
their behalf. The model will also be paid a certain amount of money in order
for the photography to be used. If an image that is used in a print product
already exists, you have to find and contact the copyright holder and gain
permission to use the image for any commercial purpose. In some cases, some may
ask for money in order for their image to be used.
